Northland Tool & Die, Inc. is well equipped to handle a large variety of projects. Northland’s tool room has the ability to design and build progressive sheet metal stamping dies, single station dies, fixtures, unique press brake tooling and special machines.
Our tool room has produced many progressive dies and machines designed to be easily and accurately adjusted to be able to produce a variety of configurations of parts within a given part family.
This provides our customers significant savings on tooling up front, while also allowing them to add parts to the family at any time, without adding more cost and the time to make additional tooling.
12 presses, ranging from 60 to 400 tons. Our 400-ton press has a bed size of 84″ x 48″ with a 12″ stroke. It is equipped with a servo feeder capable of feeding stock up to 30″ wide or 1/4″ thick, with the feedline able to handle 5000-pound coils.
We have three press brakes, with the largest machine having a 10-foot bed and 130 tons of force.
In our assembly area we can mig, tig and spot weld steel, stainless steel and aluminum. We also preform orbital riveting operations as well as staking.
